Courvoisier V.S.O.P. fine Champagne cognac is made exclusively from Grande and Petite Champagnes. It is amber in colour, silky smooth with chocolate overtones and a nutty, citrus finish. This unique cognac is oak-aged for 8-12 years and boasts hints of vanilla, almonds and port wine. According to master blender Patrice Pinet, Courvoisiers V.S.O.P. is very smooth with an excellent balance of oak and floral flavours that can be fully appreciated neat or mixed with ice and water, it’s also excellent with long drinks. In production, white wine used in crafting the spirit is fermented, and then double distilled. Aging must occur in Limousin oak barrels for at least 2 years, where the spirit picks up tannins, colour, and complexity. The Courvoisier brand was used in toasting the spectacular opening of the Eiffel Tower in 1889.
